The 2nd Caspian International Aqua Technologies Exhibition and Conference (CATEC) will take place from the 10th to the 12th of April 2014 at the Baku Expo Center. The exhibition is the only specialised event in the Caspian region dedicated to achievements in the field of aqua technologies. The exhibition is organised with the support of Azersu OJSC, the national water provider. Iteca Caspian is the organisers of the exhibition.
The implementation of the Caspian International Aqua Technologies Exhibition and Conference is very topical in the light of ongoing large-scale projects for reconstruction of water supply / sewage systems and for design engineering / construction of drinking and waste water treatment facilities in Azerbaijan. The modern achievements and new ideas, technologies, which are demonstrated at the exhibition are then introduced to the industry to facilitate its modernisation.
This year, CATEC offers visitors the opportunity to review water supply systems, waste water and rain water purification systems, microtunneling, measurement and management technologies for water analysis, pumps, pipes, pumping systems, hydrants, construction machinery and equipment, geothermal technologies and other examples of the latest water supply and sewage system technologies.
79 companies from 24 countries will exhibit at CATEC. Among the exhibitors will be the leading technological companies, suppliers, ecologists and construction companies Azerbaijan, Austria, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Israel, Italy, Canada, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey, Switzerland and other countries. Azerbaijani exhibitors include Azersu (Azerbaijan), Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Fram OJSC, Akkord, Azertexnolayn, Grand Motors, Gandja Instrument-Making Plant, Omicron, Unipark, Sumgait Technology Park and others.
Over half of exhibitors have come to the event from outside Azerbaijan, including ABB (Switzland), Amiad Water Systems (Israel), AVK (Denmark), Culligan (USA), Elektromed (Turkey), Erkon (Turkey), Flotenk (Russia), GEA Westfalia (Germany), Greenworks (Lithuania), Grundfos (Denmark), Hungarian Water Cluster, Krohne Anlagen (Germany), KWI International (Austria), Nirosoft (Israel), Sampro Canada (Canada), Sulzer (Switzerland), Turan Makina (Turkey), Valvotubi Ind (Italy), "Kommunalnik" Plant (Belarus) and others.
The 2nd Caspian International Aqua Technologies Conference will take place alongside the exhibition at the JW Marriott Absheron Baku hotel. The conference will allow for effective demonstration of the latest technologies to be combined with the discussion of current issues in the industry. National Water Provider of Azerbaijan Azersu OJSC will support and actively participate in the conference. Its topics are:

Over 400 delegates have registered for the Conference, including government body officials, figures from industry and municipal services, national experts, managers and ecologists from major industrial firms, suppliers of eco-technology and eco-services, and representatives from scientific, research and design institutes of the sector, associations and NGOs.
