The 20th Anniversary Azerbaijan BakuBuild 2014 International Exhibition, which is the largest building event in the Caspian region, will take place from 22 to 25 October at the Baku Expo Centre. Over its two decades of existence, the exhibition has become the guiding force on the building market for Azerbaijani and foreign companies and acted as a starting point for many companies that are industry leaders today. More than 3200 companies from 35 countries have exhibited over 20 years, hosting more than 100 thousand visitors and giving the exhibition the reputation of an effective business platform where contracts are signed and trends on the building services market are determined.
The anniversary exhibition will have record results. The Caspian Construction Week which unites BakuBuild, Aqua-Therm Baku and CIPS will present over 500 companies from 29 countries. The exhibitions will occupy all of the pavilions and lobby of the Baku Expo Center, including the open air area. National groups from Hungary, Germany, Italy, Iran, Spain, Portugal and UAE will have displays at the exhibition. As always, companies from Turkey will have a significant presence at the exhibition (41 companies). A pleasing development is that around 40% of exhibitors will be local companies, which will include both debut and repeat exhibitors. The General Sponsor of the exhibition will be the Corella brand, while the AZPOL brand will act as Gold Sponsor, with both brands being part of repeat BakuBuild exhibitor NB Group. Holcim Azerbaijan will act as Registration Sponsor and Gazakh Cement Plant will also be one of the Sponsors of the exhibition.
This year, the exhibition will present a wide range of construction equipment, ceramics, decorative stone, windows and doors, interiors, exclusive sanitary ware and roofing materials. One of the completely new products presented at the exhibition will be finishing materials from Japan produced from volcanic dust. Wooden windows, doors and floors will be presented by the leading European brands. Companies will be demonstrating the popular open air "decking" trend for floors in the open air. A whole range of Italian landscape design companies will bring their original solutions and projects to the exhibition as a result of the rise in interest towards landscaping in Azerbaijan. The construction machinery section which will be in the open air in front of the exhibition complex and which will feature exhibits from leading brands such as Amcador, Iveco, JCB, Hitachi, Hyundai, Maniton, Volvo and Caterpillar deserves particular attention.
The area of the Furniture section has grown significantly. Well known companies from Azerbaijan, Iran, Italy, UAE and Turkey will demonstrate designer bedroom and lounge furniture, office and garden furniture, uniquely designed bathroom furniture and many other products. For the first time, top Italian and Ukrainian producers will offer elite, exclusive hand-made furniture made from natural materials and interior solutions for palaces, hotels and private villas to the interiors market of Azerbaijan.
The organisers have planned a programme of exciting and diverse additional events to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the exhibition and to create a celebratory atmosphere. Materials related to the anniversary will be published in the printed media produced for the exhibition.
