Caspian Construction Week, the largest non-oil sector exhibition in the region in terms of exhibitor number and space, will take place from 21-24 October at Baku Expo Center. Comprising of three exhibitions, Caspian Construction Week will include BakuBuild 2015, the 21st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition, Aqua-Therm Baku 2015, the 8th International Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary Ware, Environmental Technology, Swimming Pool & Renewable Energies Exhibition, and CIPS Caspian 2015, the 8th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition, which will occupy all pavilions, open spaces, and the lobby of Baku Expo Center. This year, Caspian Construction Week will feature 535 companies from 30 different countries.
21st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition
Around 40% of exhibitors at BakuBuild 2015 are companies entering the Azerbaijani market for the first time, while Azerbaijani companies will make up 49% of exhibitors. Regular exhibitors include Accord, Matanat A, and Holcim Azerbaijan. This year, the exhibition is being sponsored by Corella (NB Group) and Akkord Cement. Local manufacturers and distributors of building materials and machinery exhibit regularly and present the improved quality and competitiveness of their products.
This year, the majority of foreign exhibitors at BakuBuild will come from Germany, Italy, Iran, China, Russia, Ukraine, and Singapore. As usual, Turkish manufacturers have reserved large areas, maintaining their interest in the Azerbaijani building market. For the first time, France will present a group of manufacturers.
This year, seven countries - Germany, Italy, Iran, Spain, and the UAE - and newcomers the Czech Republic and India will present national stands. Italy’s stand will feature 66 manufacturers and distributors from different regions of Italy. The Indian Chamber of Commerce is supporting the debut group of 15 companies from India.
BakuBuild 2015 will cover the entire range of building materials, machinery, and interiors, reflecting this year’s main trends of originality and reliability. As such, this year’s exhibition will present ceramics, stone, marble, paints, windows and doors, roofing and flooring, furniture, street lighting, landscaping, metal and bronze work, as well as heavy construction equipment from leading manufacturers and distributors. Leading European brands and local manufacturers will present wooden windows, doors and floors. Top plumbing lines from Italy and structural glass and glass works will also be presented. The furniture sector, which has expanded significantly, sees well-known companies from Azerbaijan, Italy, the UAE and Turkey present designer furniture for bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, offices and gardens.
BakuBuild reflects not only the current state of the industry, but also presents innovative solutions, trends and designs for the future. 2015’s innovations include easy to assemble modular polypropylene coatings for outdoor areas; roofing, safety and dyeing agents for wood; a new generation of cement and coatings; original high-quality mixers for bathrooms with two different nozzles and original handmade handles made of Murano glass, crystal, ceramics and ebony; fashionable vinyl tiles; mini concrete plants for small-scale production; protective and dyeing agents for exterior and interior wood surfaces; decorative timber panels; and exclusive lighting systems for buildings. Located in Baku Expo Center’s lobby and halls 2 and 4, Aqua-Therm Baku will present pool and HVAC equipment, ventilation and heating systems, sewer systems, water filters, plastic pipes, fittings, radiators, boilers, water tanks, solar air heaters, cooling units, air ducts, air hoses, gas filters, gas regulators, heat exchangers and much more. Among this year’s innovations are gas ramps, new technologies for water treatment and wastewater treatment, flexible pre-insulated plastic pipes. 8th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition
CIPS Caspian 2015, the Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition, the region’s only international B2B security exhibition, will feature companies from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, the UK, Belarus, China, the UAE, America, Ukraine and many other countries. Regular exhibitors include A Yangin Guvenlik Sistemleri, Arsenal, Azfire Safety, Ren Group Global Service, and SafeLife. 60% of exhibitors at CIPS Caspian 2015 are foreign companies and over half the exhibitors are newcomers including Azinteco, Digital Solutions, Protect.az, Gozcu Guvenlik, Southwest MW, Trading House Teco, and Poliservis.
CIPS Caspian 2015 presents technical solutions for security and CCTV surveillance, emergency rescue equipment, information security devices, smart cards, ID technologies, turnstiles and much more. The Fire Safety System sector features well-known fire safety systems, fire and intrusion alarms, smoke detectors, fire and technical cameras, fire-fighting equipment and much more. For the first time, security systems for large properties such as factories and university campuses are being presented.
CASPIAN CONSTRUCTION WEEK BUSINESS PROGRAMME
For many years, the exhibition has been accompanied by a wide business programme of presentations, seminars and master classes. This year, Caspian Construction Week will offer six workshops with various companies. The business programme will cover topics such as ‘Low costs and high profits in heavy engineering’ (OJSC CBG); ‘The future of structural concrete’ (Caspian Construction Systems, Euclid and Flowcrete RPM); ‘Useful software solutions for companies in the building sector’ (Ultra Technologies); ‘Fire-resistant plaster systems that provide heat, hydro and sound insulation’ (Caspian Construction Systems and Konizma Construction Thermal Insulation Inc. Co); ‘IP Solutions and video intercom’ (Dahua Technologies); and ‘HDCVI-HD-quality analogue systems (Dahua Technologies).
