CIPS Caspian, the 6th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition, will take place from 23 to 26 October 2013 at the Baku Expo Centre. The only specialised security event in the region, CIPS Caspian is not just a place to showcase and promote products, develop business and study the market – it is also a platform for exchanging information, developing ideas and finding opportunities to join forces to counter various threats to life and production.CIPS Caspian 2013 will present leading companies from Azerbaijan, Belgium, Germany, Greece, China, Russia, Turkey, Sweden and other countries, with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan among the exhibitors. Overall, the exhibition is made up of the latest examples of equipment, modern technology and the latest achievements and design developments in security video surveillance, access control, and emergency and rescue equipment. Exhibitors will showcase electronic communication devices for security in residential and work areas, automation and monitoring lighting, climate control and security systems, 100-520 MHz high-accuracy direction finding antennae, loudspeakers and sirens. The event also present a unique chance to ICT professionals, who can see in action and examine: CCTV systems, speed dome cameras, camera optics, new high-performance video cameras ideal for airport, railways station and city surveillance, Smart Faces cameras that can recognise up to 24 human facial expressions to trigger an alarm, FLIR thermal imaging cameras for use in security, navigation and even hunting, and other ICT technologies widely used in ensuring the security of the population.The Fire Safety Systems sector will bring the attention of visiting professionals to well-known firefighting systems, fire and security alarms, smoke detectors, special-purpose firefighting equipment, and thermal imaging cameras that provide clear images at night and through smoke.Several presentations and seminars will take place within CIPS Caspian 2013. The Intellect programme will be presented in Azerbaijan for the first time – a multifunctional open software platform designed to create integrated security systems on any scale. A one-of-a-kind presentation on innovative information storage and recording in video surveillance systems will also take place, and a demonstration of intelligent integrated security systems will form another presentation.
