The 2nd Caspian International Boat and Yacht Show (CIBS 2015) will take place from 2 to 4 April at the Baku Expo Center. CIBS is the only exhibition in the Caspian region to bring together boats, yachts, different types of marine equipment, yacht clubs, water sports and marine transport. The exhibition is very relevant at the moment in light of Baku 2015, the first European Games, which has given impulse to the development of water sports. The exhibition is officially supported by the State Maritime Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation and National Confederation of the Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organisations of the Azerbaijan Republic. The organisers of the exhibition are Iteca Caspian, part of ITE Group.
CIBS 2015 will be located in the second hall of the Baku Expo Center. Exhibitors already include State Maritime Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Arcadia Marine House, the Azerbaijan Sailing Federation, the Baku Marine Service, Regal Boats, Seagull Caspian, Baltijskie Berega, and others. The exhibitors will come from countries such as Azerbaijan, Russia, USA and Ukraine. The exhibition will demonstrate for professionals, enthusiasts, and other visitors marine technology products, related products for outdoor activities, and the latest technological advances in the industry. Among the innovations shown this year will be modern cost-effective solutions in the areas of protecting coasts, natural basins, and riverbanks, building coastal areas (including piers and quays), formation of coastlines, improving coastal areas, cleaning and excavating reservoirs, underwater cleaning and more.
This year, for the first time CIBS will take place at the Baku Expo Center alongside AITF 2015, the 14th Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair, and HOREX 2015, the 9th Caucasus International Hospitality Fair.
The organisers hope that CIBS 2015 will act as a promising and effective means for entering Azerbaijan’s marine market, for reinforcing positions on the market, for strengthening existing business contacts, for creating new relationships and collaborations with distributors, and for expanding client databases.
