In autumn 2026, Baku will once again become one of the key meeting points for international business dialogue across various strategic sectors. From September to December, Iteca Caspian and Caspian Event Organisers will organise international exhibitions covering the defence industry, internal security, construction industries, urban infrastructure and sports sphere.
The events, to be held at Baku Expo Center, will bring together government institutions, local and international companies, manufacturers, suppliers, investors and industry professionals. Alongside showcasing new technologies and solutions, the exhibitions will serve as an important platform for establishing direct business contacts, exchanging experience, expanding export opportunities and building long-term partnerships.
The autumn exhibition season will begin at the end of September with ADEX – the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition, a major defence industry event in the Caucasus region. In October, the season will continue with Caspian Construction Week and Road & Traffic, while two new exhibitions will be organised in the final months of the year. The exhibition calendar will conclude with ExpoSport Azerbaijan in November, covering various areas of the sports industry. All events will be held with the support of the relevant government institutions and sector-specific authorities.
The Region’s Key Meeting Point for the Defence Industry and Security
From 30 September to 2 October, Baku Expo Center will host ADEX – the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition. Securex Caspian – the 15th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment – will be held in parallel with ADEX on the same dates.
Since the early years of the ADEX exhibition, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has visited the event and addressed greeting letters to its participants and guests, which is a demonstration of the high level of attention paid to the exhibition at state level. This not only shows the considerable trust placed in the exhibition but also confirms its status as a national brand of Azerbaijan with international standing.
As one of the most prestigious international events in the defence industry, the largest specialised exhibition in this field in the Caucasus region and one of the principal platforms for military-technical cooperation, ADEX is one of Azerbaijan’s internationally recognised national brands. The exhibition is held on the initiative and with the organisational support of the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The organiser is Caspian Event Organisers.
For the first time in the history of ADEX, the 5th pavilion of Baku Expo Center will be put into operation in 2026. The record expansion of the exhibition area reflects growing international interest in the exhibition and ADEX’s strengthening position within the defence industry. To date, more than 270 companies from 29 countries have confirmed their participation. Belarus, the Czech Republic, Italy, Türkiye and Slovakia will present national displays.
This year, the United Kingdom, Germany and Romania will be among the countries participating in ADEX for the first time.
The strength and technological potential of Azerbaijan’s defence-industrial complex will also be extensively presented at ADEX 2026. For the first time, the 4th pavilion of Baku Expo Center will be entirely dedicated to the national display.
The exhibition will cover the principal areas of the defence industry, including aviation and unmanned systems, radio-electronic equipment, C4ISR technologies, modern weapons and ammunition, and military equipment. At the current stage, the participation of more than 40 official delegations from 33 countries has been confirmed. This will provide opportunities for high-level bilateral meetings, discussions on the prospects for military-technical cooperation and the establishment of new strategic partnerships.
Securex Caspian, which will take place on the same dates as ADEX, will bring together advanced solutions in internal security, safety and rescue equipment.
Urban Planning, Construction and Transport Infrastructure on a Single Platform
Caspian Construction Week, one of the region’s leading industry platforms in the construction sector, will take place from 14 to 16 October. Against the backdrop of 2026 being declared the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” in Azerbaijan, Caspian Construction Week holds particular significance in terms of sustainable urban development, modern architectural approaches, innovative construction technologies and infrastructure modernisation. With a 30-year history, Caspian Construction Week has now established itself as a national brand with a prominent place in the business calendars of international companies.
As part of the Week, BakuBuild – the 31st Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition, Rebuild Garabagh – the 6th Azerbaijan International Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Garabagh Exhibition, Aquatherm Baku – the 18th International Exhibition for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary and Swimming Pool, and Plastex Caspian – the 5th Caspian International Plastics and Polymers Industry Exhibition will all be organised at a single venue – Baku Expo Center.

The organisations supporting Caspian Construction Week include the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku City Executive Authority, the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Lachin district, the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kalbajar district, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA), the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), the Karabakh Revival Fund, the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organisations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK), The Union of Architects of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Construction Manufacturers Association (ATIA), and the Azerbaijan Construction Materials Manufacturers Association (ATMIA).
As part of the Week, BakuBuild will showcase products and technologies across such areas as construction and manufacturing equipment, construction materials, flooring, interior and architectural solutions, lighting and insulation systems, ceramics and facing stone, metal products, windows and doors, landscaping solutions and other areas. Rebuild Garabagh will contribute to attracting international companies, technologies and investment to the large-scale restoration and reconstruction process being carried out in the territories liberated from occupation. Aquatherm Baku will cover heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, water supply and sanitary systems, while Plastex Caspian will cover raw materials, production technologies and ready-made solutions in the plastics and polymers industry.
More than 200 companies have currently confirmed their participation in Caspian Construction Week. Alongside Azerbaijan, participants include companies from Belarus, China, Iran, Italy, Russia, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and other countries. Italy, Uzbekistan and Russia will be represented at the exhibition with national pavilions. In 2026, Italy will expand its participation in the exhibition and will be represented by two pavilions. One of these will be a separate display showcasing Sicily’s potential and products. Holding several exhibitions at the same venue will provide participants with access to a broader professional audience across construction, architecture, engineering systems, water supply, industrial production and infrastructure.
The exhibitions’ extensive business programme will include panel discussions, thematic sessions, presentations, as well as B2B and B2G meetings. This format will enable companies to hold direct negotiations with representatives of the private sector and government institutions, assess market demand, and discuss supply and cooperation opportunities.
Road & Traffic – the 14th Caspian International Road Infrastructure and Public Transport Exhibition – will also be organised on the same dates as Caspian Construction Week. The exhibition will bring together professionals in road infrastructure, public transport, road safety and information technologies. It will showcase the design and construction of roads, bridges and tunnels, urban planning, road construction machinery, geodesy and GIS systems, parking systems, intelligent transport systems, traffic management, public transport, payment systems, cycling infrastructure, road signs, lighting and safety solutions. To date, companies from Azerbaijan, China, the Russian Federation and other countries, including Bohnenkamp, Fujian Tietuo Machinery Co., Ltd, Geoid, Global Automobiles, K Group (Bakıkart), Miakom SPB and STP-BTECH, have confirmed their participation in the exhibition. At the same time, the Main State Traffic Police Department of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be represented with its own stand at Road & Traffic.
A New Sports Event of the Autumn Exhibition Season – ExpoSport Azerbaijan
One of the major new additions to the autumn exhibition season in 2026 will be ExpoSport Azerbaijan – the Azerbaijan International Exhibition of Sports, Fitness, Wellness & Active Lifestyle, which will take place from 26 to 28 November. The exhibition will be organised at Baku Crystal Hall with the organisational support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The fact that the exhibition is being held specifically in 2026 is of particular significance. The European Capitals and Cities of Sport Federation, having highly assessed Baku’s sports infrastructure, selected the city as the “World Sports Capital” for 2026. Alongside promoting mass participation in sport, public health and an active lifestyle, this status creates favourable conditions for expanding Baku’s sports tourism potential and hosting new events dedicated to the sports industry in the capital.
It is within this context that ExpoSport Azerbaijan will bring together various areas of the sports industry in a single venue. The exhibition will feature sports federations and associations, professional and amateur sports clubs, sportswear and accessories, sports nutrition and supplements, sports medicine, health and rehabilitation services, sports technologies and equipment, the construction and equipping of sports facilities, sports tourism, event organisers, specialised educational institutions, as well as e-sports and interactive gaming solutions.
The exhibition will bring together manufacturers, distributors, sports federations and clubs, fitness centres, start-ups, investors, athletes and visitors interested in an active lifestyle. Participants will have the opportunity to present their products and services to their target audience, establish new commercial relationships and meet potential partners.
ExpoSport Azerbaijan is expected to feature B2B meetings, meetings and discussions with well-known athletes, entertaining and interactive games, live demonstrations of various sports, competitions and quizzes. In special zones designated for visitors, it will be possible to test sports equipment, take part in various physical activities and discover new products and solutions.
The new exhibition is expected to contribute to the promotion of sports culture and a healthy lifestyle in Azerbaijan, the introduction of innovative sports technologies, the expansion of cooperation within the sports industry and the development of the country’s sports tourism potential.
The significance of international exhibitions held in Baku is not limited solely to showcasing products and technologies in individual sectors. International exhibitions play an important role in the development of business tourism in Azerbaijan and, by attracting innovative technologies and investment to the country, serve as an important platform for new opportunities.
The arrival of numerous business visitors in the country requires the highly coordinated operation of all service sectors, including hotels, restaurants, transport companies and other service providers. In this way, exhibitions generate a multiplier effect, stimulate business activity, contribute to the development of the hospitality and transport sectors and, naturally, further strengthen the country’s investment attractiveness.
The autumn exhibitions of 2026, as a continuation of this contribution to the country’s economy, will serve to further strengthen Baku’s position as an international business centre. Covering a broad range of sectors, from defence and security to construction and urban infrastructure, sports sphere, the events will promote the attraction of new technologies, investment and partnerships to Azerbaijan, the expansion of business dialogue between the countries of the region, and the enhancement of the country’s investment attractiveness.
