On May 29, a press conference dedicated to the 30th Anniversary Baku Energy Week — the region’s premier industry event that annually brings together global energy leaders — was held at the Hilton Baku Hotel.
The press conference was attended by representatives of the media, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), as well as members of the event’s organising committee.
Speakers at the conference included Bahruz Hidayatzade, Executive Director of Caspian Event Organisers; Jahid Mikayilov, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Orkhan Huseynov, Press Secretary of SOCAR; Naila Aliyeva, Project Manager of Baku Energy Week; Aynura Nazarli, Project Director of Baku Energy Forum; and Laman Aghayeva, Project Manager of the Translogistica Caspian exhibition.
The 30th Anniversary Baku Energy Week will take place from June 2 to 4. Over the years, Baku Energy Week has established itself as a reliable energy platform on both regional and international levels, earning its place as one of the most anticipated events in the global energy calendar.
Baku Energy Week unites three prestigious events under one umbrella: the 30th Anniversary International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition, 13th Caspian International Power and Green Energy Exhibition, and the 30th Anniversary Baku Energy Forum. While Caspian Oil & Gas and Caspian Power will take place at the Baku Expo Center, the Baku Energy Forum will be held at the Baku Congress Center, a venue built with an environmentally conscious concept.
The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan supports the events held within the Baku Energy Week, and the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) acts as the general partner.
This year, Baku Energy Week is hosting 267 companies from 39 countries. Alongside Azerbaijan, participating nations include Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, the United States, Uzbekistan, and Guinea-Bissau. Germany is participating with a national pavilion.
SOCAR is the general partner of Baku Energy Week. Among the participants, partners, and sponsors of the event are prominent companies such as ABB, ACWA Power, Azfen, AZEL Systems LLC, Baku Steel Company, bp, Gap İnşaat, HMS Group, HUAWEI, Inpex, INTI, iMotors, Kolin İnşaat, Masdar, MOL Group, MVM, NewMed Energy, Saipem, Pasha Bank, SLB, Türkiye Petrolleri AO, TotalEnergies, Tekfen Inşaat ve Tesisat, Ural Steel, and XRG. iMotors LLC is the official car partner of the Caspian Oil and Gas exhibition. Imotors LLC is the official representative of the JMC brand in Azerbaijan. JMC is one of China's leading manufacturers of pickup and commercial vehicles, known for its powerful engines and durable design.
Pasha Bank is acting as the official banking partner of the events.
Free shuttle buses will be provided for visitors from "Koroglu" metro station to Baku Expo Center and from Baku Expo Center to Park Bulvar Mall. The official sponsors of the shuttle buses are "AZFEN" and "TEKFEN" companies.
ORGANISERS
The event is organised by Iteca Caspian and its international partners ICA Events and Caspian Event Management. Baku Energy Week holds the quality mark of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), which confirms the high level of its organisation and the reliability of the statistical data presented. The event is also actively supported by the Azerbaijan Exhibition Organisers Association (ASTA).
